2008 CF Courage Doll Project
We welcome you to our special project. We are moms, a step-mom, and an aunt of precious people with the genetic disease, cystic fibrosis. It was our task to make this a fun and thoughtful project about something very real in our lives that needs true courage. We shared our support, wisdom, sense of humor and creativity with each other as we added to each creation over a nine month period of time. Each doll and her journal visited our homes and brought with them the energy of healing and hope to face our CF challenges. We shared our creations and writings at a party and now wish to share them with you. These dolls and the love they reflect are dedicated to all of the families who live with this disease. They are meant to honor all parts of the experience, the heartbreak, the work, the lessons learned, the miracles, and the need for a community that supports each other.
